Tandem Jump

Skydive Harbor Springs highly recommends this method for your first skydive. Tandem skydives require the least amount of training (usually less than an hour) and maintain the highest degree of safety. Your instructor will be with you through the entire skydive and parachute ride. Your jump will include approximately 60 seconds of freefall, followed by a canopy ride that lasts anywhere from 7 to 9 minutes. Should you request it, you may also assist in steering the parachute.

AFF is the most advanced method of training to become certified to skydive on your own. Before your first jump you will attend a 4 to 6 hour training class that will teach you the fundamentals of skydiving. Your jump is made in the company of two USPA rated AFF Instructors who will assist you during the exit and freefall. You will have the opportunity to deploy your pilot chute, which will open your main canopy. When you deploy your parachute 5000 feet above Harbor Springs you will be under the control of your own canopy with the assistance of a radio from your instructor.  The view and the exhilaration of jumping on your own will change your life forever.
